A token. A request. A result.

1. Create a scoped token

   As the organization owner, open Organization settings → Developers. Give the token a name, expiry and only the scopes your bot needs. Save it securely: the full token is shown once.

2. Confirm the base URL

   Use the API origin configured for your environment and append /api/v1/org. Organization settings → Developers shows your workspace’s configured API base URL. The example below uses the production backend origin.

3. Read before writing

   Start with profiles:read. Add write permissions when the bot needs them.
